covid-19 pRECAUTIONS

First Baptist strives for all worshippers to feel extremely safe when in our sanctuary! All congregants enter only through the front sanctuary doors and exit only through two designated side doors. Of course, masks are provided, and hand sanitizing stations are available at the entrance and exits. In addition, pews have been cordoned off to ensure social distancing, and plastic transmission-blockers have been installed on our stage. Our goal is 100% safety in an environment where our focus can be solely on glorifying God!

Sunday School

Our Sunday School Program is the best place for you to get plugged in and meet people in a comfortable environment. Since the onset of the current national health crisis, our classes have been meeting remotely. Call our church office at 304.645.3533 to learn how you can participate by phone or on your computer. Worship Services

currently meeting on Sunday at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary

Sunday morning services feature Christ-honoring music and uplifting expository preaching of the Bible. Everyone is welcome at FBCF, as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for all nations! Dress as you feel comfortable; you will see people here dressed in everything from suits to blue jeans.

Sunday Nights

Our Sunday night adult services at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary feature in-depth, verse-by-verse teaching and will resume once the COVID-19 crisis has abated. These nights are fun and a great opportunity to grow in your knowledge of Christ.

When community health improves, Sunday nights at FBC will also include Youth Group meetings at 6:00 PM in the Annex building Youth Worship Room or in our gymnasium.

Wednesday Nights

Our Wednesday night services at 7:00 PM for adults are a time in which we gather to pray for our church, nation, and community. These services will also resume as soon as community health conditions improve. They feature a condensed Bible teaching followed by prayer.

Many adults and teenagers also choose to serve next-door in the Annex building in our AWANA program, which we hope to start again in September. AWANA is the dynamic Bible club children’s program meeting from 6:45 to 8:15 PM for children ages 3 (if potty-trained) through 8th grade. AWANA activities include Bible study, games, service projects, and A LOT of fun!

Parking and Entrances

Your Sunday morning will begin by parking in one of our conveniently located visitor parking spots on the side of our building. After parking, you will be greeted by one of our ushers at the door, who would be honored to point you in the right direction.

Children’s Church/Nursery

During our service, you are welcome to keep your children with you if you wish. However, we do offer a Children’s Church program for young children to hear the Word at a level they can understand. Also, an infant nursery will hopefully be available by Easter, staffed with experienced personnel (trained annually in CPR and approved by background checks) and equipped with pagers for parents, if needed.
