Youth in grades 6 – 12 meet Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:15. Join leaders Scott Vogelsong and Pastor Ben for great Wednesdays of fun and faith!
SALT Ladies’ Book Study
All women are invited to a weekly study of the book Luke in the Land by Kristi McLelland. Meetings will be Mondays 10/7 to 11/18 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. A combination of text and video will give readers a fresh perspective on Jesus through learning about the places He walked!
Brotherhood Men’s Breakfast
FBC men and boys 12+ are invited to a special fall breakfast Saturday, 10/12, at 7 AM. Expect great food, greater fellowship, and the greatest goal–to further the Gospel!
Adventure Kids’ Fall Hike/Bike
All students are invited to join the Adventure Kids and their families for a fall hike and bike on the Greenbrier River Trail from 2 to 4 PM!
Practice for Christmas Cantata 2024
The FBC Community Choir begins practice October 20th at 5 PM for the glorious Christmas cantata “Here Comes Christmas!”. No audition necessary; all singers welcome! The cantata will be performed 12/21 at The Greenbrier and 12/22 at First Baptist.
Community Halloween Party
FBC will host a Community Halloween outreach event here in the Fellowship Hall of the church on October 31st from 6 to 8 PM. Candy! Candy! Candy! Plus other great snacks, fantastic costumes, and fun with spreading the love of Jesus at the center. 🙂
Ark Encounter Adventure Kids Trip
The Adventure Kids travel to the Ark Encounter museum in Kentucky Friday and Saturday, 11/8 and 11/9! Contact Beth Shafer, Children’s Ministries Director, or the church office for more information.
Church Anniversary Sunday
Join the congregation of First Baptist Fairlea for a special Sunday service of remembrance and thanksgiving, with a luncheon to follow.
Food Locker Distribution
FBC’s Men’s Brotherhood Ministry group meets at Old Stone Church in Lewisburg, WV to bag and distribute food bank items for needy families.
