One of the reasons FBC was planted was to more effectively reach out to children and youth. We believe that children are a gift from God, and it is our pleasure to partner along with you in raising your child up in the way he or she should go (Proverbs 22:6).
We have many different programs for children ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade. We would consider it an honor to have your children as part of our programs.
Partnering With You
It is our deepest desire to teach and guide all children in their spiritual journey, but we also realize that you, as parents, have the greatest opportunity to influence the spiritual development of your children. Each week your children will be taught truths from God’s word and sent home with tools and resources for you to continue the teaching at home. These resources are designed to create natural conversations about God as families experience life together, as in Deuteronomy 11:19: “Teach these to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
We have Sunday School classes available for children of all ages! Our teachers are eager to meet your children and partner with you in teaching your children the Word! For more information about Sunday School classes, please see click here to learn more about Sunday School.
Our Children’s Church program is held during Sunday morning services and includes grades one through five. During this time your children will learn the Bible on a level they can understand.
Our Puggles program is held during Sunday morning services and includes children who are three years old to kindergarten age. During this time your children will learn the Bible on a level they can understand.
Our AWANA program is one of the best in the area. Every Wednesday night from 6:45-8:15 during the school year, we have 100 volunteers and children gathering in our annex building. To register your child for AWANA, click here.
Your children’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. Any volunteers or staff who will spend time with your children are screened with a criminal background check. Also, our video surveillance system is monitored during Sunday morning services.
