Student Ministry

Student Ministry

First Baptist Student Ministries is our ministry to middle school and high school students in grades six through twelve. We seek to work alongside parents to disciple our students into gospel maturity. In each of our youth ministry contexts, we will meet for fellowship, worship, and teaching from God’s Word.

In the transition period we are in now, some of the usual activities and meetings may not always be available, but this ministry will do its best to continue to invest whatever time possible into our teens. They are an important part of our larger church body.

In an effort to be hearers and doers of the Word, we also meet each Wednesday for our Approved program. During the school year we help and assist with the AWANA children’s program at the church. In addition, we offer many opportunities for students to develop relationships by “gathering”, “growing” in their faith through trips, retreats, service projects, and fun events, and “going” as we find opportunities for our teens to serve in the community and around the world.

In all we do, our desire is to see our students becoming and making disciples of Christ.

MEETING TIMES

Sunday School

We meet at 10:00 AM in the Youth Room. During this time students are taught verse by verse through Scripture.

Approved

Approved is our Wednesday night program from 6:45-8:15 PM. Students take this opportunity to help serve in our AWANA program as helpers. We love to see our students being hearers and doers of the Word!
