First Baptist Student Ministries is our ministry to middle school and high school students in grades six through twelve. We seek to work alongside parents to disciple our students into gospel maturity. In each of our youth ministry contexts, we will meet for fellowship, worship, and teaching from God’s Word.
As a way to provide our teens with a safe place to just be themselves and also to grow closer to Jesus and each other, we have our weekly youth group meetings each Wednesday from 6:45 – 8:15. This is at the same time our AWANA program meets. In addition, we offer many opportunities for students to develop relationships by “gathering”, “growing” in their faith through trips, retreats, service projects, and fun events, and “going” as we find opportunities for our teens to serve in the community and around the world. Your teen is welcome to join us!
We meet at 9:45 AM in the Youth Room. During this time students are taught verse by verse through Scripture.
Youth Group meets each Wednesday from 6:45 – 8:15 in the church building. There are also various Sunday night hangouts in our gym and youth room.
In the event of inclement weather, we follow Greenbrier County Schools’ weather closings.
If schools are closed for the day or evening activities are canceled, all Student Ministry events are cancelled.
Please check the FBC Homepage or answering machine (304.645.3533) for information on church activity closings during inclement weather.
