Patti grew up in Richwood, Nicholas County, WV and graduated from Fairmont State College with a degree in accounting before earning her certification as a CPA. She began her career in banking and then became a financial analyst for B.F. Goodrich in Richwood. In 1985 she became Chief Financial Officer for the Ferguson Group of Companies in Summersville, WV and continues in that role, now working from her home in Lewisburg.
Patti married her high school sweetheart, Randy, after growing up in church together and attending BYF youth groups in Nicholas County. Recently, they moved to Lewisburg full-time and enjoy being close to their daughter Erica, her husband Paul Dowdy, and their grandchildren, who are all also active members of First Baptist.
Patti and Randy have served in numerous roles in the church all their lives and are thrilled to be active now at First Baptist, where Patti began her role as treasurer in September 2025. Patti is a member of the Stewardship Committee and Church Council, a teacher of the AWANA’s Sparks Class, and a volunteer in the Adventure Kids Ministry. She also serves on the Greenbrier County Young Life Support Committee.
Patti enjoys baking, reading, and walking.
