Julian and his wife of fifty-two years, Martha, moved to Lewisburg in 1973, where he established a dental office and served the community for forty years. The Meadows have three children, all of whom made a profession of faith and were baptized at FBC.
Julian has held many jobs at First Baptist. As AWANA Commander, he enjoys working with the faithful adult leadership and spending time in the gym with the children! Besides heading up the AWANA program, he is currently a deacon and chairman of the Nominating and Capital Planning Committees. During his fifty years at FBC, Julian feels blessed to have served as chairman alongside visionary Building Committee members, helping oversee six projects, the most gratifying of which were creation of a new sanctuary and family activity center (gymnasium).
During his “down time”, Julian enjoys traveling with Martha, doing yardwork, skiing and making beach trips with their seven grandchildren, and savoring special times at the family “farm”.
