Jan and her husband Jim moved to WV from Alabama, where she was actively involved through the years with teaching women’s classes and Sunday School for all ages. At First Baptist Fairlea, Jan is the Sunday School Director, as well as Co-Chair of the Hospitality Committee, a committed AWANA volunteer, and member of the choir. Jan continues to work part time as a Nurse Anesthetist at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and the Greenbrier Ambulatory Surgery Center. During her spare time, she enjoys working with flowers and cooking. She is also an avid reader who says she is “always searching for the truth and is not satisfied with the status quo”. Jim is retired now and fills his time with multiple “projects” and their farm in Monroe County.
They both enjoy time spent with their sons and families. And, of course, their dogs!
